We believe that to make our communities (local, state and national) a good place to live with high quality of life, all segments of society must be productive and add value. This can be attained with a focus on the African American male improving in the area education. The Alpha Epsilon Boulé Education Foundation is addressing the critical shortage of African American males who are preparing themselves for college and community leadership in the twenty 21st century. The urgency of this need is underscored by the fact that African American males continue to fall further and further behind in the number of students attending and graduating from colleges and universities in Texas.The scholarships given to these talented, academically and community oriented, young men have obvious financial impacts but the real value is the mentoring that they will get from the mentors who are matched in the intended field of study.
