Welcome to Alpha Epsilon

Alpha Epsilon was the first Boulé in the state of Texas. On June 30, 1948, Dallas, Texas was designated as the home of the 38th Boulé. This included the Texas cities of Marshall, Tyler and Ft. Worth (North Texas). The initiative to expand the Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity was in progress. Alpha Epsilon was the first Boulé established in the State of Texas. The introductory ceremonies were held at the home of William T. Burke, D.D.S. on Allen Street in Dallas.

January 7, 2011 – Cox Enterprises announced today that Gregory Morrison has been promoted to senior vice president and chief information officer, effective immediately. He will continue reporting to John Dyer, executive vice president and chief financial officer. "Greg is a dynamic leader who continues to transform our technology department," said Dyer. "In an area that is constantly changing, Greg ensures that Cox and our businesses are utilizing the best and most efficient technology." He joined the company in 2002 and is responsible for technology service and strategy development for all corporate systems. In addition he is responsible for enhancing the IT infrastructure to support business expansion and ensure consistent service levels and operational reliability across the enterprise. Morrison most recently served as Cox's vice president and chief information officer. He previously served as vice president of information systems at Prudential Financial, Inc., and chief operating officer and chief information officer for RealEstate.com. Morrison served in the United States Army Signal Corps for seven years. He serves on the board of trustees for Clark Atlanta University and on the board of directors for Piedmont Hospital and nuBridges, Inc. He was named one of US Black Engineer Magazine's Most Important Blacks in Technology for six consecutive years (2005-2010), as well as Computerworld Magazine's Premier 100 IT Leaders. Morrison earned a bachelor's degree in science from South Carolina State University and a master's degree in science from Northwestern University.
